Privacy Notice

1. Data controller

Alba Digital, based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this notice, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.

This notice covers the Alba Play app (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and CarPlay) and the site play.albadigital.com.mx. Alba Play is a product of ALBA — Digital Dawn Studios, the studio arm of Alba Digital.

2. Data we do NOT collect

• There is no sign-up or login: we don't collect your name, email, phone number or passwords to use the app.
• We use no advertising identifiers, tracking pixels or third-party trackers.
• We don't access your contacts, location, microphone, camera or photo library.
• Your listening progress, downloads and preferences are stored only on your device (and in your personal iCloud backup, if you have it enabled, under Apple's terms).

3. Data processed in a limited way

Catalogue and audio connections

When the app downloads the catalogue or plays a file, our content delivery network (CDN) processes your IP address and technical request data — device type, system version, date and time — as any web server does. This is used to operate and protect the service and to know, in aggregate, how many downloads each broadcast had.

Alba Premium subscription

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We neither receive nor store your payment information. The app only asks Apple whether the subscription is active, without learning who you are.

Diagnostics

If you enabled sharing diagnostics with developers in your device settings, Apple may share anonymous, aggregated crash reports with us. They contain no personal content.

4. Purposes of processing

The data described above is processed solely to: deliver the audio content, maintain the security and availability of the service, measure the reach of broadcasts in aggregate, answer the requests you send us, and comply with legal obligations. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. This website's form

If you write to us through the form on play.albadigital.com.mx, we collect your name, email, the reason you select and the message you write. We use them only to reply and, if you asked for it, to let you know when the app launches. We don't sign you up to any newsletter and we don't share that data with anyone.

6. Third parties involved

• Apple Inc. — app distribution, subscription processing and, if you enabled it, iCloud backup. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• Hosting and CDN provider — delivery of the catalogue, the audio and this site; processes technical connection data as described above.
• Email provider — receipt of form messages in Alba Digital's mailbox.

None of them is authorised to use that information for their own purposes beyond providing the service to us.

7. Retention

Technical server logs are kept for short periods, appropriate to operations and security. Form messages are kept for as long as they are useful to handle and follow up on your request, and are deleted when they no longer are — or when you ask us to.

8. ARCO rights

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@albadigital.com.mx. Tell us your name, a means of contact and which right you wish to exercise; we will answer within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP.

Because the app keeps no accounts or user profiles, in most cases we hold no identifiable personal data to rectify or cancel. If you wrote to us through the form, we can delete that message at your request.

9. Minors

Alba Play offers informational content suitable for a general audience and does not direct the processing of personal data at minors. If you believe a minor sent us data through the form, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this notice

Any update will be published on this page with its revision date. If a change is substantial, we will also announce it inside the app.
