Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Alba Play is an audio content application operated by Alba Digital through its studio ALBA — Digital Dawn Studios, based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico ("we"). By downloading or using the app, or by using this site, you accept these terms.

2. The service

Alba Play offers the daily Alba News briefing free of charge, together with podcasts and audiobooks available through the paid Alba Premium subscription. The catalogue may change, grow or be withdrawn without prior notice.

The app requires no account. Your listening progress and downloads are stored on your device; if you uninstall the app or switch devices, that information may be lost.

3. AI-generated content

Alba News content is compiled from journalistic sources that are cited on air, story by story. Despite our care, content may contain errors or omissions, or become outdated. It is provided for information and entertainment and does not constitute professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, financial or otherwise.

4. Alba Premium (subscription)

• Plans: monthly ($49 MXN) and yearly ($499 MXN). Prices may change and are always shown inside the app before you confirm a purchase.
• Billing is handled through your Apple account (App Store). The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies.
• Alba News is and will remain free: no subscription is needed to listen to the daily briefing.

5. Permitted use

Alba Play content is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, bulk-extract, publicly retransmit or use it to train automated systems, nor attempt to circumvent the technical measures of the app or the service.

6. Intellectual property

The names Alba Play, Alba News, Alba Premium, Voces del Alba and ALBA — Digital Dawn Studios, the visual and sonic identity, the trademarks, the interface and the catalogue content are the property of Alba Digital or used under licence. These terms grant you no licence over them beyond personal use of the app.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service continuously available, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical failures or causes beyond our control. The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or that a given broadcast will be published on a specific date.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alba Digital shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits the non-waivable rights you may hold as a consumer under Mexican law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will announce it in the app or on this site. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes your acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact
